Morgan Chair is a family-owned and operated company run by Billy and Sue Morgan. Billy learned the upholstery trade in High Point, North Carolina and quickly excelled in the field. He became skilled in new furniture construction and design as well as upholstery methods. During this time Sue began her career in sewing which complemented Billy’s skills as an upholsterer. Billy and Sue opened Morgan Chair in 1983 and by 1988, expanded solely on their reputation by word of mouth. Family member, Jesse Morgan joined the company in 2003. Jesse is a 2003 graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill, where he studied Business Administration and is dedicated to expanding the business' expert service to the nation.

Located in Stanfield, NC, Morgan Chair currently has eight full-time employees and serves the North and South Carolina areas. Due to their reputation, Morgan Chair now offers services throughout Virginia, Maryland, Tennessee, and Washington, DC. New furniture shipping includes additional places throughout the United States.

Morgan Chair is a full-service upholstery shop offering both reupholstery and new furniture services for residential and commercial customers. They specialize in furniture reupholstery, custom furniture and antique restoration while committing to only the highest quality work. They have fabric books (including leather and vinyl fabrics) and value their customer’s time by bringing those samples to clients' work or home. They also gladly will work with customer’s own fabric.
